ICASTIC MEANS CO-MAPPING
In an increasingly complex world, Knowledge Visualization is gaining importance in all areas of science, business and society. Through visual approaches, it supports the mapping of knowledge, systems and insights – particularly among people from different educational, cultural and professional backgrounds.
Through Knowledge Visualization we
a) co-create insights between individuals and within groups
b) manage complexity and improve understanding
c) support learning, communication and interaction through new approaches and techniques
Unless a bespoke approach is needed, during workshops we mainly employ visualization tools of our design, like:
ICABODY mapping personal energy
ICAMAPS for organizations and projects
ICATIME on how we see the passage of time
Vision can no longer be employed simply to support verbal and conceptual meanings: its potential as a cognitive power in its own right must be exploited.

HOW
We work both digital and analogic and employ visual metaphors and live sketching in a collaborative context.
A long experience in graphic and information design, workshop facilitation and design education converge on the research for an always improved collective mapping of complexity. Our work is based on a micro/macro approach that addresses both the individual and the organization with its own ecosystem.
There is absolutely nothing like a visual metaphor to make sense of what we are doing and where we are heading, as individuals and as organizations.
I strongly believe in our collective capacity to visualize change.
