We believe that the best way to approach and understand complexity is to map it in space: with this activity stakeholders have the opportunity to identify leverage points for change and co-create innovation.

Our work is based on a micro/macro approach that addresses both the individual and the organization within its own ecosystem. We work both digital and analogic in a collaborative context and employ innovative mapping tools based on effective visual metaphors.

A long experience in information design, workshop facilitation and design education converge in the practice of collective mapping of complexity.

Anything is easier to understand when mapped in space. We design mapping tools and use them to facilitate co-creation workshops that aim at identifying leverage points for positive change.

Visual Orientation is an innovative method (developed together with Isabel de Maurissens, researcher at INDIRE) that applies Systems Thinking and Sustainability to the person in need of educational orientation or career guidance.

Icamaps is a mapping process for organizations to visualize the status quo and their next future.

With Icatune, the map emerges during a coaching session that introduces the team to the collaboration principles of a string quartet.

Icabody is a visualization tool for professionals, used by life coaches and consultants with their clients, to spark a conversation about personal energy and prevent burnout.

Visualizing

In an increasingly complex world, visualization is gaining importance in all areas of science, business and society.

Visualization supports the mapping of knowledge, systems and insights. Moreover, a metaphorical approach elicits new perspectives among people from different educational, cultural and professional backgrounds.

A quick sketch can show a new direction: Icatime – drawings on how we see the passage of time – is a visualization tool we use during workshops, to visualize time as individuals and as organizations.
